Cherese Vines Charming Words

Follow the Vines to an Adventure

Zombified: Book Review

on September 19, 2012

Zombified by Lyra Mcken is about Cassie, a high school senior that gets infected by a virus that will eventually turn her into a zombie. She teams up with other infected but not yet flesh-eating people to find help to get cured. I read this in two days. It’s a quick read, funny, and a great look at zombies from the inside. It felt a little too rushed in some parts. I would’ve liked certain scenes extended and had others to flow better. Very few typos that came only toward the very end. Not sure how else it could’ve ended, but it was an entertaining and funny ending. Will we see how Cassie’s end will come in another book about Neil/Joseph?
